Dr. Beaumont is also dedicated to helping the healthcare professionals of tomorrow develop their skills. As a professor of science, Dr. Beaumont has the ability to create and share high-level academic programs that inform the practice of future medical professionals.

While his love for medicine has driven his career, Dr. Beaumont is also committed to using his business acumen as a physician executive and consultant to drive organizations forward. He's dedicated to staying informed of updated best practices in medicine and business management, allowing him to lead from the front.

Current Role & Duties

Mark Beaumont MD currently serves as the Executive Director of Operations and Personnel Relations at Opportunities for Inclusion in Waltham, MA, an organization that provides services for people with disabilities. In this role, Mark Beaumont MD sets organizational goals for growth, establishes policies that promote the company's long-term vision, manages the company's relationship with partners, onboard new employees, and supervises current executives and employees. Dr. Beaumont also works as a Healthcare Consultant for MWA Consulting in Boston. He specializes in offering a full range of consulting services in GCP, GLP, and GMP compliance.

Mark Beaumont MD is also the current Associate Medical Director for ERODHealth, a Boston-based company that uses current research, data, and evidence to help organizations working to move healthcare forward to reduce the time necessary to draw conclusions from epidemiological studies. In this role, Dr. Beaumont works to advise researchers to develop medically sound methods that produce positive patient outcomes.

Career History

Dr. Beaumont has served as a Clinical Expert Medical Writer for Care Talk magazine, allowing him to share his expertise with the medical community. During his time writing for Care Talk, Dr. Beaumont worked to share information about clinical drug trials, medical studies, and medical marketing, educating the healthcare community on the latest developments in medicine.

Mark Beaumont MD also served as a Life Sciences Consultant and Science Liaison for Boston University's Institute for Health Systems, Innovation, and Policy. In this position, Dr. Beaumont served as an advisor to identify and direct enterprise-wide strategic projects, analyzed clinical trends and health outcomes, created customized medical information content to fulfill requests from both medical and non-medical professionals for disease state and product inquiries related to chronic diseases, and developed health economic modeling studies for medical device, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic technologies. Dr. Beaumont also created high-quality medical information summaries, supported the development and delivery of clinical content product information and promotional product communications, and utilized medical information insights to identify knowledge gaps and drive content generation.

Through his many professional pursuits, Dr. Beaumont is most proud of his leadership and management skills that have increased operational efficiency, his success in leading human resources and recruiting efforts, and his ability to work with businesses to improve their information technology systems. Past employers have celebrated Dr. Beaumont's ability to develop a strategic vision for their organizations. This led him to be invited in November 2021 to serve as a board member for Harvard Medical School TEAMS Patient Experience Board which aims to help educate medical professionals on improving care for individuals with autism, and their families.

Academic History

Mark Beaumont MD began his undergraduate studies at Boston University, where he graduated in 1998 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and was named a Commonwealth Scholar. He was also a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society during his time as an undergraduate at BU.

In 2003, Dr. Beaumont earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. During his time in medical school, Dr. Beaumont was awarded the MA Academy of Family Practitioners Educators Award, the Boston University School of Medicine Kenneth C. Edelin Award In Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Boston University School of Medicine Solomon Carter Fuller Award in Psychiatry.

After completing his medical studies, Mark Beaumont MD earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Health Sector Management from Boston University's Questrom School of Business in 2021. During his time at Questrom, Dr. Beaumont also earned a certificate in Strategy, Innovation, and Leadership, allowing him to further hone his ability to promote organizational growth.


Dr. Beaumont was awarded the MBA Student Impact Award during his studies at BU's Questrom School of Business.


In addition to his many professional accomplishments, Dr. Beaumont also makes a point to give back to his community. For the past decade, Dr. Beaumont has served as a basketball coach for the Joel Noe Basketball League at Brookline Public Schools.

Personal Interests and Hobbies

Dr. Beaumont believes in the importance of balance in life and makes a point to make time for his personal hobbies. In his spare time, Dr. Beaumont enjoys training for and running marathons, playing the violin, spending time outside, and volunteering in his community. As the father of a son with autism, Mark understands the importance of creating opportunities of value for individuals with intellectual disabilities. He is also the father of a daughter who attends Tufts University.
